Job summary

Torch, a fast-growing SaaS healthcare company, seeks a Senior Tech Lead & Software Engineer to shape the evolution of our commerce platform used by dental practices nationwide. You will lead end-to-end product initiatives, own technical strategy, and build scalable, intelligent systems.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Ops, own features across frontend and backend, and mentor engineers on best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience delivering meaningful product outcomes.
• Strong experience across the stack with Python, Node.js, or Java and React when needed.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
• Familiarity with Flask/Express/Rails or similar web frameworks; product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product initiatives across frontend and backend.
• Own full-stack experiences with fast, intuitive interfaces.
• Develop data pipelines syncing product, pricing, and orders.
• Integrate automation and LLM-based tooling to improve operations.
• Contribute to frontend development to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Mentor engineers and set architecture standards.
• Build scalable, intelligent systems for healthcare providers.
