Torch in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend emphasis to drive our RCM product and Marketplace. You’ll build user‑facing experiences used daily by dental practices, owning features end‑to‑end across the stack and collaborating with product, business, and other engineers.

You’ll work with AI-assisted workflows, shape solutions, and ship intuitive interfaces while contributing across both React/TypeScript and Django contexts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with a strong frontend focus.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with TanStack Router/Query and modern frontend tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build fast, well-structured frontend experiences in React and TypeScript.
• Own features end-to-end—from components to API integration and deployment.
• Contribute to backend APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate requirements into interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and advocate frontend quality across the team.
• Navigate two frontend contexts: React/TypeScript SPA and Django-based Marketplace.
