• Proven experience leading global onshore/offshore delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices and cloud-native development.
• AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) for cloud-native solutions.
• Modern application architecture and design, API-first and event-driven architectures, microservices.
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Integration technologies and enterprise data patterns, database design and optimization, secure coding.

We are seeking a highly motivated Tech Lead with deep Insurance domain expertise and a passion for leveraging Artificial Intelligence across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This individual will lead the design, development, and delivery of modern enterprise solutions while driving the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices that improve speed, quality, innovation, and business outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Application Development: Assist in building and maintaining full-stack applications using modern frameworks and best practices. Adopt new technologies, including Python, React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless. Drive adoption of AI tools throughout the SDLC to improve engineering productivity and solution quality. Utilize modern AI platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools for software design and development.

Vibe Coding & Rapid Innovation Demonstrate expertise in vibe coding and AI-assisted development methodologies. Rapidly build Proof of Concepts (POCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and prototypes using AI-enabled development platforms. Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities and recommend practical applications for business value. Promote a fail-fast experimentation culture while maintaining enterprise-grade engineering standards.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software engineering and application delivery experience.

The salary range for this role is between: The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards. $150,000 - $160,000
