Citi is seeking a Technology Director to lead the design and development of a Cash & Intraday Liquidity Management platform. This senior role owns a multi-year technical roadmap, builds a world-class engineering organization, and delivers AI-first, cloud-native systems with high availability across geographies and regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering and architecture experience in Cash Management, Intraday Liquidity, Payments, and reporting.
• 12+ years leading teams on large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives in banking.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, data platforms, regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery methodologies.
• Prior Cash / Intraday Liquidity management and Payments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide solution design options and recommendations across evaluation dimensions.
• Recruit, build and manage a high-performance team of analysts and solution architects.
• Establish collaborative partnerships with local and global teams for innovative solutions.
• Define cohesive front-to-back system architecture across Central Operations to reduce fragmentation.
• Lead architecture governance, including architecture review boards and conformance to design principles.
• Partner with CTO SMEs to understand and apply emerging engineering standards.
• Evaluate and test potential designs to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure integration of functions fulfills business goals.
• Define system enhancements to deploy new products and processes.
• Mentor junior team members and drive risk-aware delivery.
