Job summary

Vets Hired seeks a Technology Advisor/Site Lead to provide senior-level technical leadership for enterprise IT services. You will coordinate network operations, systems engineering, cybersecurity, IT management, and project execution to sustain mission networks and support contingency operations.

The role requires leadership across IT operations, guidance on IT goals and deployment strategies, and oversight of critical networks. Travel for CONUS/OCONUS deployments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across IT operations, networking, systems engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Advise leadership on IT goals, objectives, and implementation strategies.
• Oversee operation and maintenance activities for mission-critical networks.
• Support planning and execution of enterprise network and IT projects.
• Apply System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles to engineering activities.
• Research emerging technologies and provide technical recommendations.
• Review technical project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare technical briefings, presentations, reports, and status updates.
• Support project scope, resource, schedule, and general project management activities.
• Coordinate with DoD organizations, vendors, contractors, and technical partners.
• Provide IT management, networking, LAN/WAN, documentation, meeting, and training support.
• Support CONUS/OCONUS deployments and TDY travel as required.
