Magna Powertrain in Shelby Township, MI is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor operators, coordinate shift activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

You will train staff on standardized work, 5S, and lean practices, participate in pre- and post-shift meetings, and escalate issues to maintain output.

Qualificações

• 5+ years supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly experience.
• Experience with or able to be trained on TWI JI, TWI JR, 5S & LPA, PTM, Mafact, and related methods.

Responsabilidades

• Follow the LSW established for this leader position.
• Available in the production area to respond to Team Members (Andon) and help preserve output.
• Train new and existing direct reports using TWI and JES/SWI documentation.
• Maintain training matrix and cross-train team members.
• Lead pre-shift and end-of-shift activities and communicate safety, quality, and productivity information.
• Perform safety checks and audit team member safety checks.
• Facilitate Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings and report on cell performance.
• Audit hourly performance, implement corrective actions, and monitor OEE.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement.
