Job summary

Magna Engineered Glass seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a first-shift production team, ensuring cost, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. You will drive continuous improvement using the MAFACT Production System and manage staffing, training, and daily performance across the shift.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience leading manufacturing teams in a production environment is essential.
Strong communication and leadership abilities are required.
Knowledge of MAFACT Production System or similar lean methods is preferred.
English proficiency required; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the assigned production team to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
Create a safe and efficient working environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage schedule attainment, productivity, and workforce within the shift.
Coordinate with team leaders to staff work cells and manage takt time.
Lead safety, quality, and environmental initiatives in alignment with EHS standards.
Monitor and control manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to SOPs and ISO policies.
