Job summary

My3Tech is seeking a Program Manager for the Tax System Modernization initiative within the Transformation Management Office. You will lead planning, monitoring, and governance for a large-scale government modernization effort, coordinating with vendors, executives, and cross-functional teams to deliver a multi-release roadmap.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience in public-sector transformations, and a track record of stakeholder engagement and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in program or project management.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale modernization or transformation projects in government/public sector is a plus.
• Experience with Agile project management is a plus.
• Proven experience developing high-quality status reports and dashboards.
• Proven experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
• General knowledge of state and federal regulatory standards for government technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and monitoring of the program with detailed schedule, resource analysis, and milestones.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive tax-system modernization roadmap with coordinated releases.
• Coordinate with vendor and senior leaders from planning to deployment; ensure governance and change management.
• Identify risks and maintain mitigation plans; manage decisions, issues, and action items.
• Deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and Executive Steering Committee updates.
• Collaborate with IT leads, analysts, and contractors to ensure effective teamwork and alignment.
• Manage change requests through appropriate governance bodies.
