Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Program Director-Senior to lead a multi-year Tax System Modernization Program in North Carolina. The role reports to the Transformation Management Office and oversees planning, execution, risk, and governance across multiple releases with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in program management, government transformation experience, and strong reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of program or project management experience.
• Experience with large-scale modernization projects in government/public sector.
• Experience with Agile project management is a plus.
• Public-sector taxation operations or technologies is a plus.
• Strong ability to develop status reports and dashboards.
• Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of project managers.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive modernization roadmap.
• Ensure program management best practices and governance.
• Collaborate with vendor and IT leads on planning and execution.
• Prepare regular status reports and dashboards for executives.
