Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Director / Program Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-year Tax System Modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise transformation, program governance, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale modernization programs from planning through deployment.
• Develop program roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and steering committee presentations.
• Drive stakeholder coordination, governance, and organizational change management.
• Ensure compliance with government technology standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of Program/Project Management experience.
• 7+ years managing large-scale modernization or transformation projects.
• Strong experience with executive reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
• Experience in program governance, risk management, and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of state and federal government technology regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or PgMP certification.
• Government/public-sector transformation experience.
• Taxation systems or technologies experience.
