Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to provide tax planning, preparation, and consulting services to business clients with pass-through entities and their owners. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and technical tax expertise across personal and entity taxation.

The candidate should have eight or more years of tax experience, supervisory capability, and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting/finance/economics preferred.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• CPA, Attorney, or EA certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs tax planning, preparation and research for pass-through entities (S-corps, LLCs, Partnerships) and owners' returns.
• Manages client engagements, supervises staff, and reviews work with managers and partners.
• Contributes to client satisfaction by delivering timely services and high-quality work product.
• Ensures compliance with tax laws and firm policies; leverages specialists when needed.
• Reviews tax processes, budgets, staffing and timely billing and collections.
