Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, guide compliance, and lead complex tax engagements. You will act as the primary client contact for complex tax issues, communicate risks, and drive strategies across federal/state matters.

You will lead a region/office leadership team, contribute to marketing and business development, and ensure high-quality tax provisions and client service. CPA/EA required with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience required
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) (or the equivalent of one of these designations) required
• Experience organizing and leading a team of tax professionals and managing client relationships

Responsibilities

• Advice on tax implications of clients' business objections and compliance strategies
• Act as primary client contact for complex tax issues and questions from federal/state agencies
• Supervise associates and seniors, review work and provide feedback
• Develop and deliver tax strategies and client service plans
• Mentor staff and lead market/business development activities
