Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an experienced Core Tax Services (CTS) Experienced Manager – ASC 740 in California. You’ll advise clients on tax implications, assess actions to reduce tax burden, and act as the primary contact for complex corporate tax and ASC 740 issues.

The role includes supervising staff, guiding research, and coordinating tax accrual reviews with Assurance. A CPA/EA or equivalent is required, with 6+ years of supervisory tax experience.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of prior experience in corporate tax or ASC 740 environments.
• CPA, Attorney, or Enrolled Agent or equivalent certification required.
• Supervisory experience and ability to manage a team of tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business objectives and ASC 740.
• Coordinate tax accruals, reviews, and budgeting with Assurance.
• Lead and train teams, interact with clients as primary contact.
• Develop strategies to improve tax positions and compliance processes.
