Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications of business objectives, oversee ASC 740, FIN 48, and other tax provisions, and lead a regional leadership team.

The role focuses on tax compliance, research, and strategy development, while serving as the primary client contact for complex issues and maintaining long-term client relationships across industries.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of tax experience and/or public accounting experience.
• Industry expertise in one or more tax specialties preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or EA (or equivalent) required.
• Strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client compliance with authorities while minimizing tax burdens.
• Review tax issues with clients; coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Develop and implement efficient tax strategies to reduce taxes.
• Lead and mentor tax staff and manage client relationships.
