Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services (CTS) Manager – ASC740 to advise clients on tax implications of their business objectives, evaluate actions to minimize tax burden, and act as the primary client contact for complex corporate tax issues.

Role includes supervising associates, coordinating with STS, and leading ASC 740 tax accrual reviews while ensuring adherence to firm policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation required.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Five or more years of prior experience required.
• Experience managing ASC 740 computations and supervising staff.
• Multinational client experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on tax implications of business objectives and communicates risks.
• Performs ASC 740 tax accrual reviews and discusses components of income tax provision to clients and stakeholders.
• Researches complex ASC 740 issues and frames analyses for the engagement team.
• Develops and implements efficient tax consulting methods and coordinates with STS.
• Leads strategy development discussions and collaborates across tax service lines.
