Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Core Tax Services Manager (ASC 740) to advise on tax implications of client objectives, lead ASC 740 tax provisions, and manage complex corporate tax issues. You will supervise Associates, train staff on software tools, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires a CPA/attorney/EA or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Taxation, required
• Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation, preferred
• Five (5) or more years of prior experience, required
• Experience in managing ASC740 computations for clients, required
• Supervisory experience, required
• CPA, Attorney, or EA or equivalent, required

Responsibilities

• Supervises Associates and Senior Associates on all projects
• Trains Associates and Seniors how to use all current software tools
• Acts as a Career Advisor to Associates and Senior Associates
• Schedules and manages workload of Associates and Senior Associates
• Provides verbal and written performance feedback to Associates and Senior Associates
