Job summary

Withum's Tax Services Group is seeking a qualified Tax Manager to oversee complex client engagements in Boca Raton, FL and across affiliated offices. You will review returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations, and mentor staff to deliver accurate tax solutions.

The ideal candidate has a CPA license or JD/MS in Taxation with at least 5 years of public accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to build lasting client relationships while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA license, JD, or MS in Taxation required.
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting tax, leading engagements and supervising staff.
• Strong analytical and technical tax skills.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns for accuracy.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Oversee tax research projects for clients across diverse industries.
• Manage multiple engagements with teams to meet client deadlines.
• Provide counsel and develop team members.
• Participate as instructor or discussion leader in development programs.
