Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA license, JD or Masters of Science in Taxation is required.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in a public accounting tax department, leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns (individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations) prepared by staff for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Oversee tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and provide guidance to teams.
