Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will interview clients, prepare tax returns, and provide IRS support while growing the business and mentoring teammates. Franchised office autonomy applies.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA/EA, and experience with individual, trust, or partnership returns, including virtual interviews and complex filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or EA certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns or tax work.
• Strong communication and client-interviewing skills.
• Knowledge of IRS/state requirements and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
