Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking seasonal, experienced Tax Professionals to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide expert tax training. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and grow the client base while supporting teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and notable experience with complex returns and virtual tax interviews. This role involves compliance with IRS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation for certain levels.
• Mentor and support teammates.
