H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to guide clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to help clients file accurate returns and resolve IRS questions.

Your role focuses on building trusted relationships year after year. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting, CPA or EA certification, and 5+ years in tax or accounting, plus comfort with virtual interviews and upselling services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
