Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, select compliant actions, and lead complex tax matters. You will help identify risks, engage with federal/state agencies, and participate in leadership, marketing, and business development within tax specialty areas.

The role emphasizes high-level decision making, client relationship management, and mentoring tax professionals while supporting regional leadership and service delivery for major client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA, Attorney, or EA certification required.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on federal/state implications and compliance.
• Lead research and issue framing for tax engagements.
• Apply ASC 740/FIN 48 guidance in tax provisions and reviews.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize client taxes.
• Supervise associates and communicate findings to clients.
