Essenti Talent in Latham, NY seeks a Tax Manager / Senior Manager to lead a growing regional office with an established client portfolio. You will oversee tax engagements, nurture client relationships and mentor staff while collaborating across offices.

Candidates at Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager level are welcome; relocation support may be considered for the right senior professional aiming for Principal/Partner. Direct hire, on‑site position.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• Progressive public‑accounting experience.
• Strong tax compliance and planning knowledge.
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individual returns.
• Experience serving closely held or owner‑operated businesses.
• Demonstrated client‑relationship management capabilities.
• Previous staff supervision, coaching or team‑leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, professional judgment and executive presence.
• Current Capital Region residency or a genuine willingness to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with closely held businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Oversee federal and state tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements.
• Review returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Advise clients on tax‑planning opportunities and broader business matters.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets and client expectations.
• Supervise Albany‑area employees.
• Coordinate client work and technical resources across multiple offices.
• Help transition and strengthen longstanding client relationships.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality and client service.
