You will manage important client relationships, oversee federal and state tax compliance and planning, and help shape the office’s ongoing growth.

The role offers a path toward broader leadership, with potential advanced opportunities for Principal or Partner. Active CPA preferred; relocation to the Capital Region may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• Progressive public-accounting experience.
• Experience serving closely held or owner-operated businesses.
• Strong client-relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with closely held businesses and business owners.
• Oversee federal and state tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements.
• Review returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Advise clients on tax-planning opportunities and broader business matters.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets and client expectations.
• Supervise Albany-area employees and coordinate resources across offices.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and develop new business.
• Participate in the office’s long-term growth and strategic direction.
