Job summary

BDO USA’s Private Client Services (PCS) practice seeks a Tax Senior Manager to lead tax compliance and advisory work for high net‑worth clients and their families. You will oversee engagements, mentor staff, and drive service quality within a boutique PCS environment.

The role emphasizes tax research, planning across estates, trusts, gifts, and entity structures, and business development to grow PCS relationships with clients and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics required.
• Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• CPA or equivalent credential required or in process.
• Experience in private client services and public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax engagements for high net‑worth clients and provides planning.
• Act as primary contact for clients; present issues and resolutions.
• Review complex returns across trusts, estates, S‑corps, partnerships.
• Direct communication with government agencies on complex matters.
• Lead tax research and develop recommendations for PCS leadership.
