Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Walnut Creek office. You will manage tax assignments, supervise staff, and strengthen client relationships while contributing to firm profitability.

Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available depending on business needs. The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance with 1-3 years in public accounting; CPA exam progression is encouraged, with CPA license a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA license a plus.
• 1-3 years of public accounting experience or relevant balance of education and work experience.
• Ability to sit for the CPA exam or passed section of the CPA.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage workloads.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and support engagement profitability.
• Develop client relationships through professional service.
• Support CPA license attainment and ongoing training.
