Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead proactive candidate pipeline development for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to understand requirements, map labor markets, and engage high-quality passive candidates with creative outreach. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, competitive intelligence, and continuous pipeline optimization across sourcing channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience.
• Demonstrated success sourcing for complex, specialized, or senior-level roles.
• Strong understanding of labor market dynamics and competitive talent landscapes.
• Advanced proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent databases, research platforms, etc.)
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies for high-impact and niche roles.
• Build and maintain proactive pipelines aligned to workforce planning priorities.
• Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify competitive talent pools.
• Develop and manage talent communities for ongoing engagement.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring leaders to understand role requirements and business drivers.
• Provide labor market intelligence, competitive insights, and talent availability data.
• Advise on sourcing strategies that align with diversity and inclusion goals.
• Support intake meetings with market perspective and recommended search strategies.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through creative outreach techniques.
• Craft compelling messaging tailored to targeted talent segments.
• Conduct initial outreach conversations and pre-screening as appropriate.
• Maintain ongoing candidate relationships for future opportunities.
• Leverage sourcing tools, platforms, and analytics to optimize pipeline development.
• Track sourcing effectiveness, conversion rates, and pipeline health.
• Analyze trends to refine sourcing approaches and improve results.
• Share competitive insights with TA and HR leadership.
• Maintain accurate candidate data within the applicant tracking system.
• Utilize sourcing technologies and platforms effectively.
• Continuously explore new sourcing channels and tools.
• Ensure compliance with hiring policies and applicable employment laws.
