Job summary

Jam City is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Management in our Los Angeles office. You will lead the People Partner team and own the talent programs that drive performance and growth across Jam City.

As a strategic partner to senior leaders, you will play a hands-on role in employee relations, performance management, career development, and organizational change, ensuring our people programs are effective, consistent, and aligned to business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years HRBP or talent management experience.
• 2+ years managing HR/People Partner team members.
• Proven ability to partner with executive-level leaders.
• Experience designing and launching performance management, career development, or leadership programs.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment law; California employment law a plus.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve HR workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn workforce data into clear recommendations.
• Experience in change management and leading organizational initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be local to the greater Los Angeles area and able to work from the office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, influencing key strategic and operational decisions.
• Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
• Guide leaders through organizational change, aligning communication and infrastructure to support the business.
• Coach leaders at all levels to strengthen decision-making, leadership capability, and team effectiveness.
• Co-design the performance management program and lead leader-facing execution, including goal setting and talent reviews.
• Build career frameworks and internal mobility programs in partnership with Total Rewards.
• Lead manager development and leadership training, from onboarding to coaching and workshops.
• Partner with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition to align programs with compensation and hiring.
• Turn talent insights into action to drive performance and growth with People Operations support.
