Job summary

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least three years of professional HR experience, with a preference for public-sector recruitment or large organizational staffing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, social science, liberal arts, or a closely related field.
• Three years of related professional experience in human resources are required.
• Experience with public-sector recruitment or large organizational staffing operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages high-volume recruitment activities from requisition initiation through candidate selection and onboarding coordination.
• Develops job postings, screens applicants, coordinates referrals and interviews, facilitates hiring approvals, and ensures compliance with City policies and procedures.
• Serves as a trusted HR partner to departmental leadership and hiring managers by providing proactive communication, timely updates, and solutions-driven recruitment support.
• Maintains accurate recruitment records, monitors key performance indicators, and prepares staffing reports, memorandums, and other personnel-related documentation.
• Proactively identifies recruitment challenges, recommends solutions, and implements strategies to improve hiring efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance service delivery.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, personal accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
