FirstEnergy seeks a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to deliver full-cycle recruiting and consulting across designated business units. You will partner with hiring managers, post roles, source diverse candidates, and guide processes from screening to hire.

You’ll build knowledge of positions, draft pre-screening questions, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role supports college recruiting and ambassador programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related discipline and 3 years relevant work experience
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 4 years of relevant work experience required
• Full-cycle recruiting experience for exempt, professional-level positions preferred
• Demonstrated capabilities for successfully sourcing diverse slates of candidates preferred
• Experience using creative sourcing strategies and resume mining
• Strong organizational and follow up skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
• Sound interviewing, organizational, public relations, negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems; SuccessFactors/Oracle preferred
• Excellent presentation skills to highlight FirstEnergy values and opportunities
• Broad knowledge of Employment Laws and HR Policies
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Strong team-building skills; positive contributor
• MS Word, Excel; SAP knowledge highly preferred
• Able to travel and work before/after standard hours

Responsabilidades

• Focus on assisting build out our Transmission organization - Transmission recruiting
• Conducting strategic consultation meetings with hiring managers and developing job postings
• Partnering with hiring managers through the recruiting process from posting to offer
• Ensuring diversity representation across stages per policy HR Letter 202
• Posting positions on internal/external sites and third-party boards
• Creating and executing candidate sourcing strategies including passive candidates
• Partnering with EBGRs and external groups to diversify candidate slates
• Developing working knowledge of open positions across FirstEnergy
• Reviewing resumes for skills, experience, and qualifications
• Developing job-specific pre-screening questions and using SMO ATS
• Conducting phone screens, interviews, and employee benefit overviews
• Guiding hiring managers on employment laws and maintaining documentation
• Developing network of contacts to identify qualified candidates, especially diverse candidates
• Fostering relationships with diverse professionals and organizations
• Serving as main contact for professional and diversity-focused organizations
• Supporting College Recruiting and career events as needed
• Serving as HR Lead for ambassador teams in Ambassador Network
• Handling external candidate contact from initial screening to hire
• Providing information to motivate candidates and promote FirstEnergy
• Developing salary recommendations with Compensation
• Extending offers and negotiating terms
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements in recruiting
• Maintaining confidentiality on projects and employee information
