Job summary

Nex, based in San Jose, California, is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our US TA team and scale recruiting across technical and non‑technical functions, including GTM, Creative, and G&A. You’ll build a fast, high‑performing recruiting engine that can move with our growth while upholding quality.

This is a hands‑on leadership role: about 60% hands‑on recruiting and 40% people leadership, with data‑driven decisions, coaching, and close partnership with business leaders on

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recruiting experience with 3–5 years managing teams in rapid growth environments.
• Proven track record leading executive, senior-level, and hard-to-fill searches across technical, GTM, Creative, and G&A.
• Experience designing sourcing and talent-attraction programs; strong in employer branding and recruitment marketing.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for executive, senior leadership, and hard-to-fill roles across technical, GTM, and G&A from mapping to closing.
• Lead the US Talent Acquisition team, aligning priorities, resources, and capacity with business needs.
• Coach and grow recruiters, drive goals, and build a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
• Deliver against quarterly and annual hiring targets with proactive pipelines for critical roles.
• Own the talent-attraction strategy using market intel, sourcing, and activations to build top-of-funnel pipelines.
• Advise hiring managers on talent availability, market conditions, compensation expectations, and hiring approach.
• Use data to spot trends, benchmark against competitors, and flag hiring risks before impact.
• Lead complex executive searches personally and oversee leadership hiring standards.
