Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Sr. Supervisor – Tailings & Water in the Pinto Valley area of Arizona. The role leads daily TSF and tailings deposition, and directs site water management activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

You will coordinate maintenance, processing, and engineering teams while driving continuous improvement and cost control across the tailings and water function. Ideal candidates bring strong supervisory experience in mining or heavy industrial

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in supervision, maintenance, construction management, project management, and/or safety within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong coordination and communication across multiple departments in a field-based setting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering plans, operating procedures, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead tailings deposition and TSF activities to meet operational and safety targets.
• Oversee site water management, pump houses, pipelines, and reclaim systems for reliable operations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and contractor resources with input from multiple departments.
• Drive continuous improvement in tailings and water processes to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting for tailings and water operations.
• Provide field leadership and direct oversight of personnel and contractors.
