Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley seeks a Superintendent, Tailings Governance & Engineering to oversee governance, engineering integration, and performance assurance of tailings storage facilities. This role is essential for developing and executing tailings deposition plans in compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will lead a team and ensure safety and quality in tailings operations, contributing to the mine's success while working in an active mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in tailings management.
• Strong working knowledge of TSF construction and water systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the Tailings Management System (TMS).
• Lead development of tailings deposition strategies.
• Oversee QA/QC programs to verify facility performance.
