Job summary

Salesforce’s Tableau team is seeking a skilled Tableau Specialist to drive data-driven sales across the Tableau platform. You will partner with Commercial Account Executives to qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and accelerate pipelines while building executive-level relationships with customers.

You’ll co-develop territory plans with AEs, channel partners, and the Salesforce ecosystem, collaborating with product support, success teams, and sales engineers to demonstrate rapid value

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of full-cycle sales experience, including 3+ years in a field/quota-carrying or specialist sales role.
• Track record of acquiring new logos or expanding existing accounts via upsell and cross-sell.
• Experience presenting to and influencing C-level decision makers.
• Collaborative mindset, thrives in team-based selling with AEs, SEs, CS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial AEs as the Tableau subject-matter expert - helping qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and accelerate pipeline across the full Tableau platform.
• Build trusted, executive-level relationships, positioning yourself as the go-to advisor for how Tableau's analytics platform drives customer business outcomes.
• Co-develop and execute territory and account plans with your aligned AE(s), channel partners, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product support, customer success, and sales engineering to ensure customers see real value from Tableau - fast.
• Drive platform expansion within existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with the account team.
