Job summary

Salesforce, home to Tableau, seeks a Tableau Specialist to drive commercial outcomes by leveraging data analytics to accelerate deals and reveal new ways customers can visualize and act on their data. You will work with Commercial Account Executives to qualify opportunities and expand relationships, including cross-sell opportunities across the Tableau platform.

Qualifications

5-10 years of full-cycle sales experience, including 3+ years in a field/quota-carrying or specialist sales role.
Proven track record of driving new logo acquisition and/or expanding existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell.
Executive presence - comfortable presenting to and influencing C-level decision makers.
Collaborative mindset - energized by working as part of a team rather than solo-carrying every deal.

Responsibilities

Partner with Commercial AEs as the Tableau subject-matter expert - helping qualify opportunities and accelerate pipeline.
Build executive relationships, positioning as the go-to advisor for Tableau analytics value.
Co-develop and execute territory and account plans with AEs, channel partners, and the Salesforce ecosystem.
Collaborate with product support, customer success, and sales engineering to demonstrate real value quickly.
Drive platform expansion within existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
