Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Analyst, Travel & Expense, to manage daily financial controls, audits, and executive reporting for the T&E function. You will ensure accurate GL coding and month-end reconciliations across Navan, Brex, and Workday, while coordinating with Tax, Payroll, and Global Mobility to maintain compliance.

You will design, implement, and monitor a risk-based T&E audit program, develop dashboards, and partner with the Head of T&E to automate recurring reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in travel and expense, corporate accounting, internal audit, or finance operations at a high-growth tech company
• Hands-on SOX or internal-controls experience: writing process narratives, testing or operating key controls, and working with external auditors
• Strong accounting fundamentals: GL coding, reconciliations, accruals, month-end close support
• Deep platform expertise in Navan and/or TMC platforms, plus Brex or expense tools, with ERP integrations (Workday preferred)
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with large transaction data sets

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of key T&E controls: approvals, card issuance, spend limits, and policy exceptions within the control framework
• Maintain T&E process narratives and risk/control matrices; update as systems/policies change
• Ensure accurate GL coding and month-end reconciliations across Navan, Brex, and Workday
• Prepare T&E controls for internal/external audits; gather evidence and track remediation
• Set up entity-level coding and approval flows in Brex/Navan as new entities come online
• Document country-specific rules for per diems, VAT reclaim, non-USD cards, and receipt requirements
• Partner with Tax, Payroll, Global Mobility to ensure compliance
• Support intercompany T&E cost allocations across entities
• Help design and run a risk-based T&E audit program; monitor pre-spend rules and 30-day receipts
• Build dashboards reporting policy compliance and control performance
