Job summary

Qualitrol, part of Ralliant, seeks a Sales Engineer for the Transmission & Distribution portfolio in the US Northeast region. The role combines technical sales acumen with customer engagement to drive adoption of transformer monitoring, GIS, partial discharge, and digital asset management solutions.

You will lead technical presentations, qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and coordinate with engineering and product management while traveling up to 40-60% of the time across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced business education preferred.
• 7–10+ years in technical sales, application engineering, or power systems engineering.
• Experience with utilities, OEMs, EPCs, or industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with utilities, OEMs, EPCs, and industrial customers.
• Promote high-voltage monitoring and diagnostic solutions; deliver technical presentations and workshops.
• Support the full sales cycle including qualification, proposal development, negotiations, and closure.
