Job summary

Great Southwestern Construction, Inc., a subsidiary of MYR Group, is seeking a Sr T&D Estimator to prepare complete cost estimates and responses to proposals for large transmission, distribution and substation projects. The role mentors estimators and builds strong client relationships, ensuring profitability and growth.

Responsibilities include field take-offs, bid submittals, and coordinating with project teams. Extensive estimating experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of estimating experience.
• Strong ability to read and understand complex plans and specs.
• Proven experience preparing labor and material cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects.
• Outline and prepare responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Develop comprehensive bid submittals with work plans and schedules.
• Mentor Estimators and assist estimating team on cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Project Management and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
