Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer III to independently plan and execute software verification for complex products.

You will lead manual test activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and produce status reports for customers. The role requires strong testing fundamentals, ability to create and maintain test plans, and comfort interacting with developers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required or equivalent
• Experience writing, executing, and monitoring test suites across technologies
• Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals: unit, smoke, performance, integration, regression

Responsibilities

• Performs manual testing on communications applications and leads a multidisciplinary test team at test events
• Produces project status reports and communicates with customer representatives
• Defines and implements QA practices, procedures, standards, and reporting
• Executes full system and production-level test plans on released products prior to shipment
• Interacts with developers and engineers in a fast-paced environment
