The Florida Department of Law Enforcement seeks a Systems Programmer III to design, maintain, and enhance a statewide distributed computer system network across multi-agency environments. Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and coordinate statewide distributed processing systems.
• Consult with agency admins and users to assess needs and define requirements.
• Design and configure distributed computer systems with hardware, OS, software and networks.
• Coordinate day-to-day support of PROC systems.
• Assist with planning and implementing distributed processing projects.
• Configure distributed environments to solve business problems for networks.
• Consult with customers to determine system requirements for internal/external FDLE use.
• Conduct R&D in distributed processing to enhance departmental networks.
• Demonstrate willingness to expand knowledge in networks and components.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
