Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Systems Integrator III in Fargo, ND to design, develop, and commission electrical control systems. You will integrate PLC and HMI solutions for renewable energy projects, perform substation integrations, and lead on-site commissioning tasks.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related) and hands-on experience with automation, PLC/HMI design, and network integration. Some travel is expected, and candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with electrical/control systems and automation concepts.
Proven PLC programming and HMI design experience.
Familiarity with industrial networks and SCADA concepts.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and project docs.
Design and integrate PLC and HMI systems for renewable energy automation.
Integrate substation devices, relays, RTACs, and networks.
Lead, test, and troubleshoot control systems under supervision or independently.
Perform on-site field commissioning and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Maintain knowledge of standards and safety regulations including NERC CIP.
Learn and apply new technologies and programming techniques.
