Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an experienced professional to support Perception/Raven test integration within Automated Drive. The role coordinates across modeling, onboard, and data branches to ensure Raven testing succeeds.

You will track software changes across branches, resolve cross-branch divergences, and work with perception modeling to anticipate changes before tests. A data-driven approach to evaluating perception model performance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with software tracking systems and coordinating changes across parallel branches.
• Strong CI/CD experience and release coordination across development tracks.
• Experience in vehicle controls, perception systems, or ML model development.
• Proficiency with Git and repository management.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage software changes across modeling and data branches for Raven testing.
• Identify and resolve cross-branch divergence issues before tests.
• Partner with perception modeling to understand scope of upcoming model changes.
• Support test execution across prototype perception test suites, incorporating modeling context.
• Collaborate with Perception, Planning, and Systems teams to integrate automated driving components.
• Maintain software branches supporting iteration across new model deployments.
• Deep-dive into vehicle log data and source code to root-cause issues.
• Use data-driven analysis to evaluate perception model performance and changes.
