Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Integration Engineer to own the technical release strategy for the Autonomy Driver+ platform. You will coordinate across Perception, Planning, Controls, Embedded SW, and Vehicle Software to ensure safe, stable, and testable software releases for simulation, test vehicles, and customer fleets.

You will lead the Autonomy Release Management function, mentor engineers, and communicate progress to executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering and systems integration experience.
• Direct experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or ADAS.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale the full lifecycle release strategy for autonomous vehicle software across development, integration, validation, and fleet deployment stages.
• Lead Release Readiness reviews and drive data‑driven Go/No‑Go decisions with engineering managers and leadership.
• Coordinate across autonomy development teams to enforce a rigorous Definition of Done and integration criteria for release candidates.
• Establish release health metrics and dashboards to monitor branch stability, regression, and release outcomes.
