Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead integration, testing, and automation for DoD software systems at our Sterling, VA facility. You will develop CI/CD pipelines, secure infrastructure, and reusable integration practices while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Requirements include a STEM degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, hands‑on software integration across boundaries, and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience integrating and testing software across subsystem or external system boundaries.
• Experience building test automation, harnesses, or test utilities, not only authoring test cases.
• Experience working in secure or regulated software environments.
• Experience working in cross‑functional software development teams.
• Working knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS or GCP preferred).
• Experience with container and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Proficiency with Python and testing frameworks such as Pytest; Linux shell scripting and core CLI tooling; pipeline development using GitLab and Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test software subsystems and external systems, addressing interface contracts and data exchange.
• Develop and maintain test tooling, simulators, and data generators for CI/CD.
• Build reusable engineering components and documentation for interface testing and environment setup.
• Configure and secure pipelines, automation, and environment provisioning for lab, integration, and customer sites.
