Job summary

Lyntris seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Sterling, VA site, focused on integrating, testing, and deploying DoD software systems. This hands-on role builds automation, CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and secure environments to support reliable software delivery across programs.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and experience with container tech, cloud, and secure, regulated environments; on-site work five days a week at a secure facility.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating and testing software across subsystem or external system boundaries.
• Experience with test automation and tooling beyond writing tests.
• Experience in secure or regulated software environments.
• Experience with cross-functional software development teams.
• Cloud experience (AWS or GCP).
• Container/orchestration experience (Kubernetes, Docker, etc).
• Proficiency with Python and Pytest; Linux CLI tooling.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance required; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test software subsystems and external systems.
• Write and maintain test threads, cases, and steps; ensure traceability.
• Participate in integration events with stakeholders and government partners.
• Triage defects across system boundaries to root cause and drive closure.
• Build and maintain test tooling and automation.
• Extend CI/CD regression coverage and provide test reports.
• Collaborate across teams and document processes.
