Job summary

Lyntris, a defense technology company, is seeking a Lead Systems Integration & DevSecOps Engineer for on-site work in Sterling, VA. This role owns SIT, develops automation tooling, and ensures secure, scalable infrastructure across DoD software systems.

Qualified candidates have a STEM background, 5+ years of relevant exp, and TS/SCI clearance; leadership and cloud/container expertise are required. On-site facility and SCIF environment.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading system integration and test efforts across multiple subsystems or external systems.
• Experience designing, building test automation frameworks, harnesses, or test utilities.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with cloud-native container orchestration platforms and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with Python and testing frameworks; Linux shell scripting and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own system integration testing across multiple subsystems and external systems.
• Define and maintain test threads, cases, and steps with traceability to requirements.
• Lead integration events with external system owners and government stakeholders.
• Design, build, and maintain test tooling and automation software.
• Develop automated test suites and CI/CD integrated regression capabilities.
