Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Senior Systems Integration & DevSecOps Engineer for on-site work in Sterling, VA. The role focuses on integrating and testing complex DoD software systems, building repeatable tooling, and maintaining secure pipelines across modular architectures.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in software integration, test automation, and secure environments, with TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship. Work is performed in a classified environment with standard on-site hours.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software integration and DevSecOps
Experience building test automation, harnesses, or test utilities
Experience with secure or regulated software environments
U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date

Responsibilities

System Integration & Test: Integrate and test software subsystems and external systems; write and maintain SWIT and SIT test threads; participate in integration events with government stakeholders.
Test Tooling & Automation: Build and maintain test tooling (simulators, stubs, data generators); develop automated test suites; extend CI/CD regression coverage.
Reusable Engineering: Create versioned, documented tooling assets for reuse across programs; contribute to conventions for interface documentation and environment config.
Infrastructure & DevSecOps: Use containers to deploy software; build automation pipelines; implement security controls in the pipeline.
Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams; write and maintain docs for integration, test, and deployment; share practices with junior engineers
