Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Lead Systems Integration & DevSecOps Engineer for the Sterling, VA area. This role combines leadership with hands-on engineering to own SIT, build test tooling, and architect secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for complex DoD software systems.

Qualifications

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own system integration testing (SIT) across multiple subsystems and external systems; manage interface contracts, data exchange, timing, usability, functionality, safety, and security.
• Define and maintain SWIT and SIT test threads, cases, steps; ensure traceability from requirements to verification evidence.
• Lead integration events with external system owners and government stakeholders; coordinate dry runs and site acceptance activities.
• Triage integration defects to root cause and drive resolution with the responsible team.
• Design, build, and maintain test tooling (simulators, stubs, data generators, log analyzers); automate test suites and CI/CD integration.
• Establish standard test reporting and evidence artifacts for engineering and compliance consumers.
• Design reusable integration and test capabilities for cross-program adoption; promote common standards for interface docs and environment config.
