The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in IT/CS (Master's preferred), 7–10 years in IT, and certifications such as ITIL or CompTIA A+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or related field

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds complex information technology and systems infrastructures.
• Conducts analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating IT tools.
• Handles user requests for system needs and upgrades that are unique or complex.
• Implements various applications of a highly complex nature.
• Administers and runs complex tests on operating system and related software.
• Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and data recoveries.
• Performs root cause analysis on production systems.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements efficiencies.
• Engaged in planning and designing new platforms and integrating new technologies.
• Conducts cost analysis of proposed platforms and technologies.
• Maintains relevant systems documentation and user guides.
• Acts as a mentor to junior team members with troubleshooting complex problems.
• Applies scripting methodologies to automate tasks.
