Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of IT experience in information technology, systems administration or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and products (Windows OS, Windows Server, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support IT infrastructures and systems.
• Conduct planning, design and evaluation of IT tools and platforms.
• Serve as back-up to respond to user requests and handle upgrades or complex requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Implement standards for computer operations ensuring hardware/software compatibility.
• Administer and test operating systems and related software; perform backups and data recovery.
• Perform root cause analysis, diagnostics, and monitoring on production systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Plan and design new platforms and integrate new technologies; evaluate releases.
• Conduct cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
• Review and update recovery plans to minimize downtime.
• Apply scripting to automate related tasks.
